Newtons mechanische Physik und Kants Auffassung, die Natur bestehe nur aus miteinander verkn�pften Folgeerscheinungen, bewirkte, dass man von einer Entzauberung der Natur sprach, der vor allem die literarische Gruppe der Romantiker entgegenwirken wollten.
Gleichzeitig zeigten entscheidende Fortschritte in der Elektrizit�tslehre und der Chemie, dass es noch viel R�tselhaftes (wie zum Beispiel Fernwirkungen und polare Spannungen) gibt, welches den damaligen Wissenschaftlern Anreiz zu Spekulationen gab.
Auch Schelling wohnte das Sehnsuchtsbild einer natura naturans, einer sch�pferischen All-Natur, inne. Wie diese f�r ihn beschaffen war, dass soll in dem folgenden Essay gekl�rt werden.
Folgende Frage steht also im Mittelpunkt: Welche Philosophie von der Natur entwickelt der junge Schelling in dem vorliegenden Textauszug? Schelling entwickelte seine wichtigsten Schriften zur Naturphilosophie um 1800.
In meinem Essay beziehe ich mich auf einen Auszug aus Schellings Werk Erster Entwurf eines Systems der Naturphilosophie aus dem Jahr 1799. Die Kapitel I und II sollen Mittelpunkt meiner Ausf�hrungen sein.
